Video Editor Intern (Reels & TikToks)

Effulgence Tech is a web design and digital marketing agency, also offering AWS cloud computing training and consulting. We’re looking for a creative Video Editor Intern to join our team for a 3-month training program, focused primarily on editing short-form video content for Effulgence Tech’s own social channels.

About the Role

As a Video Editor Intern, you’ll take raw footage and turn it into polished, scroll-stopping Reels and TikToks. You’ll work closely with our content creators and social media manager to produce videos that are fast-paced, trend-aware, and aligned with our brand voice.

What You’ll Do

• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) from raw footage
• Add captions, transitions, music, and sound effects to enhance engagement
• Stay current with trending edit styles, formats, and effects on TikTok/Instagram
• Collaborate with content creators and social media managers on video concepts
• Repurpose longer content into short-form clips where applicable
• Organize and manage video assets and project files efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience editing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, or similar)
• Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar
• A strong sense of pacing, timing, and what keeps viewers watching
• An eye for current trends, sounds, and short-form video formats
• A portfolio or sample reel showcasing past edits (personal projects welcome)
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Open to anyone with the relevant skills, regardless of educational background
